What is SSC CGL Exam and It’s Pattern ? –Staff selection commission known as SSC, Which works under the Government of india (GOI) to appoint the staff who are eligible for the various posts in various ministries, Departments and Subordinate offices.
The selection of the eligible staff is done by an examination known as combined graduate level(CGL) Examination which is conducted by the staff selection commission (SSC) to find the eligible candidates for particular posts of grade b and grade C categories in various government ministries , Departments and offices.

The CGL Exam process consists of a 3 Tier Process which is as follows:

SSC CGL Tier 1 Exam and It’s Pattern – CGL Tier 1 or paper 1 is completely Computer Based Written Examination Which is consists of around 100 questions which needed to be done 75 minute.These questions are equally distributed between.

In this examination there are four section which are as follows:

1. Reasoning – This section completely based on logic and not just mathematical skill where you learn formulas and work is done, here their is only one way that is practice all the type of questions as much as you can.

2.Quantitative Aptitude :- This part include tthe basic question that checks your numerical ability.

3.General English -TO SCORE GOOD IN THIS SECTION YOU NEED improve you basic english in order to excel in the SSC CGL as this is one of the toughest section of SSC CGL.

4. General Awareness :- It is that section of examination in which you cant’ predict what will come as the syllabus is vary wide and covers almost all the topics of GK, History…

SSC CGL Tier 2 Exam & It’s pattern:

It will alos be computer based written examination consists of papers in which 2 are mandatory and 2 are optional.

1. Quantitative Aptitude :-

a. Mandatory Paper
b. Consist of around 100 question
c. 2 Hours duration

2. General English:

a. Mandatory Paper
b. Consist of around 200 questions
c. 2 Hours duration

3. Statistics:

a. Optional Paper
b. Consist of around 200 questions
c. 2 hours duration

4: Finance & Economics:

a. Optional Paper
b. No. of question notified by the SSC.
 c.    2 hours duration.

SSC CGL Tier 3 Exam and it’s Pattern

This exam is conducted as Pen & Paper Mode which is also known as Descriptive Test.

SSC CGL Tier 4
If you clear the Tier 1 , you will have to appear for Tier 2 for majority of the post’s, based on your Tier i.e. the Major exam & Tier 3 is skill Test & interview and Tier 2 Marks you will be declared selected.
For some Selected posts you have to undergo document verification and some optional tests like Computer Proficiency Test/Skill Test.
