How Good Is SSC CGL Exams? Is it Good Career Option?


SSC stands for Staff Selection Commission (SSC). SSC comes under Government of India. It involved in recruiting staff at multiple levels in various departments of government.
Every year, SSC conducts a CGL graduate level exam, CGL is short form of combined graduate level. This exam basically conducts for Group B and Group C posts.

CGL exam levels:
Tier I (60min., 200 marks)
Objective Multiple Choice Type, Online Examination
Quantitative Aptitude
General English
General Awareness

Tier II (120min. for each, 200 marks for each)

In Tier II two papers Objective Multiple Choice Type, Online Examination is conducted on the same day. One is Quantitative Aptitude and the second one is English. In addition, for the posts of JSO and AAO, Paper 3 and Paper 4 are conducted respectively.

Tier III (60 min., 100 marks)
Exam mode of this level is offline. We have to write essay/ passage/Letter / Application on given topic.

Tier IV
Computer Proficiency Test/ Skill Test (wherever applicable)/ Document Verification.
